When will the store officially launch?
We’re getting everything just right and expect to fully launch soon! Be sure to join our mailing list to get notified as soon as the shelves are open and the stories are ready to find new homes.
What kind of books do you carry?
We curate books written by LGBTQ+ authors, featuring LGBTQ+ characters, themes, or history. Our selection includes fiction, memoirs, poetry, nonfiction, and more — all chosen to reflect and celebrate queer lives in all their complexity.
Are all your books LGBTQ+ related?
Yes! Every book we carry either centers LGBTQ+ voices or themes, is written by LGBTQ+ authors, or explores important moments in queer history and identity. This is a space built by and for the community.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay. All transactions are secured through Shopify's checkout system.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time we are shipping within the U.S. only. We’re hoping to expand shipping options as we grow. So if you're outside the U.S., hang tight and follow us for updates!
How long does shipping take?
Orders typically ship within 2–3 weeks. We place each order with our vendor after you check out. Some items may ship directly to you, while others come to us first for repackaging and personalization. Either way, we’ll keep you updated along the way!
What is your Return Policy?
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us at support@foundfamilybooks.com within 7 days of delivery. We’ll make it right.
At this time, we don’t accept returns for reasons other than damage or fulfillment error.
Do you take book recommendations?
Yes, and we love them! If you know of a title we should carry — especially by indie or underrepresented LGBTQ+ authors.
