Disguising herself as a boy, she ventures to King Arturus’s court where she challenges knights, uncovers her true heritage, and claims a place at the Round Table. In richly lyrical prose, the novella weaves together queer desire, cultural diversity, and mythic adventure into a timeless yet radical retelling.
