Demetrius just wants to get home after a grueling, emotionally draining trip that leaves his chronic illness flaring and his body worn and weary. Delayed flights and missed connections strand him overnight in a vast, indifferent airport where he wanders the concourse searching for a quiet place to sleep. When a kindly appearing priest shifts into unwanted attentions and horrific flashbacks, Demetrius turns to a drug-induced rest where the past claws back into his dreams.
